Inconvenience Pay is additional compensation paid to
employees required to work four or more hours between 6pm and 6am.
Inconvenience Pay is separate from, and in addition to,
any shift differential that might be approved for a specific title and
location.
Inconvenience Pay is paid on a daily basis.
Inconvenience Pay is reported as compensable income for retirement.
It is not
considered "base pay" for promotion or any other purpose.
