Reminder: HCSAccount Enrollment Ends Soon

If you've put off enrolling in the Health Care Spending Account (HCSAccount) for 2002, be aware that the deadline for enrollment is November 9, 2001. Employee information meetings are still being held--see the schedule below for details.

If you had more than $150 in out-of-pocket medical, dental and vision costs last year, you can save money by enrolling in HCSAccount for 2002. HCSAccount helps you save money by paying for those expenses with pre-tax dollars. Check out Frequently Asked Questions for information about how the program works.

To request an enrollment kit call 1-800-358-7202 (press 1 for HCSAccount). You can also log on to www.flexspend.state.ny.us to view more information and download enrollment forms. This site has information about Dependent Care Advantage Accounts, which is another great way to save money.
