Employee Handbook



DISCUSSION

Management started consolidating and updating duplicative and outdated information. It will then be forwarded to the Chairman for editing, hopefully by the end of next week. The goal is to issue this by the first week of January. The standard state domestic violence policy was added.



ACTION

Management will provide PEF with the handbook for comment.

Labor/Management Minutes



DISCUSSION

Both parties agreed to a two-week turnaround time to comment and finalize the minutes. They will be posted at that time.



ISSUE

Staff Directive 2008-3 as it relates to 2007-13



DISCUSSION

Agency is no longer using on-call/recall due to budget constraints. There was a bidding system in place for scheduling due to monetary issues. PEF would like to continue the bid process due to the member’s time off and field assignments. Management is open to suggestions. Management will generate a roster for the night officer. Staff wants to continue the current bid process through February 2009. The new bid would be generated during the January 2009 training. PEF request clarification between Directive 2008-3 and 2007-13.
