RE:  Employee Identification Cards

Dear Mr. Scales:

This will confirm our understanding regarding the replacement fee for employee identification cards for those state agencies using the OGS Kronos Honeywell EBI System.

Effective upon ratification employees who are replacing their cards for the first time will be charged five dollars $7.50.  An employee who replaces a card after that will be charged ten dollars $12.50.  The State will be replacing identification cards from time to time for security purposes.  There will be no charge for these cards.  There will also be no charge for cards replaced due to normal wear and tear.  Once a new card has been issued by the State, all employees will once again be charged five dollars $7.50 for the first replacement, and ten dollars $12.50 for subsequent replacements.  Should an employee choose to take a new driver’s license picture, they may request a State identification card be issued with the new picture.  There will be no cost for these cards.

                                                                        Sincerely,

John Currier
Deputy Director for Contract Negotiation and Administration
