A National Grid electric line came down Monday night significantly diminishing the power to PEF Headquarters.  As a result, our computer servers and phone systems at headquarters went down and remained down until Tuesday afternoon and a number of other pieces of equipment, (heat systems etc.) tried to operate through the “brown out” which ended up causing damage to some of the units.  We had to close the building to initiate repairs and eliminate any possible health and safety issues for staff and members that the loss of power and damage caused.  Work continues today to complete the repairs that will allow us to reopen Thursday morning.
